New Barrett Model 98 Bravo (.338 Cal)

Just got my rifle in yesterday, It's and 20" and weighs about 13 lbs. Came with 2 10 round mags. My Nightforce 5.5 - 22x56 Should be coming in today sometime. Mounting the scope, sighting it in, and going hunting the 6th - 8th at my uncle's ranch. Can't wait to shoot it!

Scope is an illuminated NP-R1 Rectile w/ Zero Stop

Ooooo-aaaaa, pricy. The ammo will be pricy as well.

That's one sweet looking black hunting rifle. Do you reload if you don't I'd give it a shot you can make some custom ammo just for your bolt gun.

It gets cheaper if you reload.

reload the ammo and trade up for a .375 if you are going that route why not get a round that can way out shoot the .338 that is unless you dont plan on reloading. then the .338 would be a safe bet.

Isnt 20 inches a tad short for the .338? Most setups I have seen have been around 26 inches for getting that extra bit of muzzle velocity that helps with those far off shots.
