    338 Lapua Magnum question

Somehow I'm going to hate myself for asking this but...Now that I've ordered a rifle...I'm looking for reloading components. I've noticed that some places list 338 Lapua Magnum and some just list 338 lapua.
    Are they the same?

They are the same, some people like to abbreviate.

        P. S. what did you order?

I just ordered a bunch of 338 LM stuff from Graff and Sons. They have Hornady Brass and Sierra MK 300-grain bullets in stock.

Has anyone ordered the Privi Partizan brass in 338 LM from Grafs? It's about $120.00 for 100 cases, I just don't know what sort of quality they put out. I've used some of their other brass and it seems fine.

There was a thread about Prvi .338 LM brass on Sniper's Hide last week, the report was not favorable. Neither was the one about Hornady brass, but lot of the guys on Sniper's Hide are very picky. I was fortunate to get into a group buy there couple of years ago and got a great deal on Lapua brass, so I won't be using anything else.
I did get 40 manufactured rounds with Norma brass while I was waiting for my reloading stuff to arrive and it isn't anywhere as good as Lapua.

I ordered the Savage BA 110 in 338 Lapua Magnum. And thanks to everyone for
chiming in. As far as having shot one...no. Not this particular caliber. Looking forward to
                    it.

LOTS to look forward to.. 338 is NOT on my list, recoil is just too much.. And/or concussion with a brake..

. “The muzzle brake channeled gases upward and backward, reducing muzzle flip, minimizing, if not eliminating, ‘marking’ and reduced recoil by upward of 35 percent,” he said. “Goal achieved!” So, what is the rifle’s recoil comparable to? According to Danneker, the .338 Lapua Mag.-chambered 110 BA produces recoil similar to that from a .308 Win

100 pieces of Lapua brass can be expensive, but last a LONG time.
