Bullet Button

Hello All. I'm a newby to this forum. Don't know if this has been asked but, does anyone know where I can get a Bullet Button for a Ruger Mini-30? I've been itching to go to the range but without a button I don't want to take any chances. I have a couple 10 round mags and a couple 30 round mags. I understand I can't take out the 30's to the range, I will be taking the 10 round ones. Also, does ammo have a shelf life? I have about 500 rounds of Wolf 7.62x39 that is about 10 years old, is it still ok?

How about some clarification. Did you want to attach one of the prohibited features to your rifle? That's when a BB is needed. As is, the Mini-30 is CA legal.

10 years is nothing if the ammo is stored properly.

doesn't need a BB unless you have installed "evil features" look at the flowchart

is it assembled or not?
if not, better get a BB first before you put it all back with the new after market stuffs.
