Thanks for your guys' help. Man it's going to be really tough to wait. I want these now. That deal on the spikes upper is intriguing as well and the RRA. June won't come quick enough. I'm getting married and have permission to use a tad gift money we get for this upper. Until then I'm just looking and drooling. Thanks again guys.

That deal on the spikes is a good deal for sure. Especially since it comes with the ST2 buffer. Even though the buffer is only $30, it's still $30 you aren't spending. If it came down to it, I would go with the Spikes over the RRA ONLY because of the heavy buffer included.

Stupid question but I'm trying to learn. Is the buffer the tube in the back that you attach the buttstock to?

Usually at the crossroads gun show in costa mesa the prices seem pretty much the same from what there normal prices are all the time at there shops..Maybe im missing something and gotta ask for deals? Or dig through the stuff to find certain things marked down?. But from what ive seen at every show, the prices werent anything to brag about.

The buffer is the part that goes into the spring and that whole assembly goes into the tube that you attach your buttstock to. So if you order that Spikes set up, when you order your buttstock setup, you can order the whole thing and have a spare buffer, or try to piece it together without buying the buffer.

The Spikes ST2 heavy buffer makes a noticable difference. I have them in two of my M4's and love them. Definetly worth the $30 for them.

I would get one of those If I was in your shoes. It comes with quality stuff from a reputable manufacture AND it comes with a upgraded buffer.

ok well I would wait and get in on the midlength buy coming out next week midlength>carbine by about 10,000,000.
I wonder if this deal will still be around in June. Hopefully. Can't wait til then.
