        Thanks for all of the advise. Seems like its hard to go wrong here. Sounds to me like everyone loves their rifle. I noticed the Sakos got no love.

        Sounds like more people are saying browning BAR and tikka t3. Of course the remington 700 always has a following. I have never really gave the weatherby's a chance, I will have to go and shoulder a few to to form a more unbiased opinion.

        I think it is going to boil down to whatever I get the best deal on here in the classifieds.

          If you have a bunch of guns and you want a dedicated hunting rig then you don't need a bunch of aftermarket add-on goodies.
          Well seeings how I have a bunch of other guns, I know I cant leave well enough alone. I am always wanting to change a trigger or get a different stock ect...

          Plus with the remington I can get a JAE stock down the road
