Looks like a wire reticle rather than etched glass. IIRC, the "wire" is photo etched from a thin sheet of copper for that type of reticle. My Bushnell 3200 Mil Dot scope was the same. Most of the time, the reticle was black, but under certain lighting conditions it would reflect like that and wash out, becoming hard to distinguish from the background. Hopefully the 6500 series scopes will have less of a tendancy to reflect like that. It's my only real gripe about the Bushnell Mil Dot scopes.
