This wrench is my roadblock for my build... you would think they would just throw it in when purchasing the rail.

Also - I'm not looking to pay out the ***** for someones used wrench either..

    I'm in Sacramento area...

    Thanks,

Clearly you're not looking hard enough:

        Please read the Calguns Wiki
Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.

If you won't want the grip then just put rails on the MOE otherwise go with a rail. At least you're on track for a good quality rail with DD. Personally, I'd go with something like a 12.0 FSP Omega X if you have a FSB. The Omega X uses the DD Lite barrel nut so you will still have to take the barrel apart. Bravo Co. was once selling these for $175 which was a smoking deal. Otherwise, go with the Lite. If you're going with just a 7" rail then I'd probably go with an Omega so it can be installed without any tools. I also like them because they are slimmer. IIRC, they are the slimmest handguards DD makes.

I wish DD made a 12.0 FSP Omega (non-X) so I could put one on my pinned 14.5. Might have to buy a 12.0 and mill it out.

I think the 12.0 FSP Omega X is a good looking rail but just not my taste. i dont like how the rail goes over the FSB like that. I have the ability to remove my FH so I am not worried about removing it.

Maybe someone has a MOE handguard they decked out? Wanna post some photos upp of it?

I got the 12.0 Omega X FSP and I like it a lot. The best part is the slim look and feel. Also with FF over the MOE is nothing is sitting on the barrel so when you start throwing stuff on the rails it wont affect the barrel.

Now you're talking! If DD made them, I would buy a couple.
