I have a Fenix TK10 with Gear Sector mount on my Sig 556. Love it. If I didnt have to be to work in 25 minutes I would post a pic. But I will get to that as soon as I get home.

The VTAC light is essentially the scout light, sans direct mount, so you can use the pressure switches for that.

If you're running a short carbine it's harder to get things comfortable without a pressure switche.Exactly my issue. I plan on running an AFG but would like to mount a tape switch to it. On long rails it's much easier - especially if you use a thumbs forward (or broomhandle on VFG) hold.
      Thanks

Here's an alternative I'm going to pick up - low profile mount and its metal:

Fenix is BLOWING AWAY Surefire right now.
The TK10 has 230 lumens of blinding light at a great price.
Sorry no pics of mine mounted, the wife has the camera out of the country.

              Anyone have one for reference?

Can never go wrong with Surefire. Cant speak to the quality of the Fenix (never seen one in person) but IMO, setting costs aside, Surefire is the Gold standard for firearm lights.

Surefire doesn't advertise it because they want to sell $400 scout lights, but their xm07 tailcap fits the G2. That gives you click cap & tapeswitch. It's an expensive tailcap ($120) but the aftermarket ones I tried killed my batteries. And with the G2 LED, Vltor mount, and XM07 you're still looking at half the price of the M600 and about the same performance.

Exactly what I was looking for. Amazing that the switch is going to cost 3x as much as I paid for the light itself though.

If it's not for a duty gun, just a range gun, check out Solarforce switches. I had one on my AR for awhile with no problems at all. They run like $15, mine's just sitting in the safe after I upgraded to a surefire x200. If you want to give it a go for $10 let me know.
