    Legally, it's not your gun.

"I mean I tried to contact them and told them, its not my fault they sent me a free gun."

      HDI are good people.

Let the FFL sort it out as it's clearly not yours.
''I want to make it clear,'' [Carl Rowan] said the other day as he emerged from his arraignment [for illegal possession and use of a firearm in Washington DC], ''that I still favor a strict national law to control the availability of handguns to those who are not law enforcement officials.''

I would do the right thing and send it back, or at least pay for it. Henderson Defense is awsome, I got my first AK from them, I wouldnt rip them off.

Going to email them, when I called they just kinda blew it off.

EDIT: Checked the invoice number and its the same as my invoice from my first order, prob is a error, emailed them to straighten this out. Could a mod delete this thread?

So did they charge your credit card after you received the invoice? Maybe it is a glitch. Once the gun is 'delivered' call your FFL and see if it is actually there.

If not, then no big deal as long as you were not charged. If it is there let Henderson know and they will probably contact your FFL to get it sent back, or maybe offer it to you at a discount since they already lost a bunch of money on shipping.
You think you know, but you have no idea.

They didn't charge me, checked my accounts about an hour ago.

If it gets there, and its not somebody else's rifle, I am going to see if they will give me a discount on it.

A discount Maybe try to do the right thing. Your trying to get free stuff that's not yours from an out of state vendor that's very pro Ca??????????? They obviously made a mistake. Try not to take advantage of good respectable people if you can help it

Not saying it's the right thing to do, but it is legal in most cases to keep items that you did not request/order and that were mailed to you. Personally, I think you should at the very least contact Henderson again and give them a chance to pay for return shipping. It's not as if this is a random item showing up from a random vendor you had no contact with.

Check out the Federal Trade Commission website for more info on this:
Billed for products you never ordered, or for products you ordered but never got? Federal laws protect you. Here's what to do.

I meant if it would be cheaper for me to buy at a discount than ship back.

Doesn't matter anyways, I got a hold of them shortly after my last post and they halted the shipment and its on the back to them, since I was able to get a hold of them the said they offered me a couple of magazine parts kits ! I didn't ask for them, just asked it was an error in the shipping info or if they were really sending a gun, ended up being that they accidently double shipped it or something along those lines.

To clear it up, I also didn't just get an email and plan to rip them off, like I said in my first post, first thing I did when I got the shipment email was call them, and the guy I talked to just blew it off as an error and didn't even look into the problem I tried giving him the tracking number and my name so he could check and he just said "no no its just an error, don't worry about it."

In the end everything worked out and I got a few magazine parts kits out of the problem, just wish the guy would have listened when I called first, but Henderson is still best firearms company I have dealt with in terms of customer service.

I don't know if this applies as HD didn't ship it to him, it has been shipped to the FFL. It's probably up to the receiving dealer what to do with it. The customer can't accept it without going through the 10 day wait.
