You can also calculate time of flight.

G7 is more accurate with boattail bullets.
G1 is proper for some really heavy pistol bullets.

ok, I don't actually have an iphone.
I have an ipod touch.
I bought it specifically BECAUSE of Ballistic FTE doing G7 BC's and using the JBM ballistics engine though.

I used it last weekend at the 1000yd match.
It's calculation was within 1/4 moa at 1000yds of my actual required come-up.

IBTL. Did you really come on an internet forum to complain about calculators, cell phones, iPods, and GPS?? Why use a computer, you could still communicate with the calguns telegraph network.
