That's funny, I was wondering the same exact thing earlier today. I was on midwayusa's site earlier trying to figure out the difference... What a coincidence. Dontcha just love it when that happens?

lol, thanks for the heads up.

On a side note. What some people may not realize, is that you would save money by buying the individual 25rd Wolf Ammo packs than getting an order of 1000rds.

          That's $5.59 for 20 cartridges.

          That's $145 for 1000 cartridges.

If you bought 25 boxes (each with 20rds) at $5.59, you'd be buying 1000rds for only $139.75. And there wouldn't be a cost break on shipping since when you buy the 1000rd bulk lot, you're just buying 25 boxes at once, not a 1000rds in one package.

I just thought it was interesting and wondered how many people actually bought the bulk lot over the individual boxes...

              .....New math? Last time I checked 25 X 20 = 500

That IS strange. There should be a visible difference between the two. the MilitaryClassic is Laquer-coated vs Polymer-coating on the BlackBox Wolf.

From my experience, the M.C. is a little bit more accurate. Not a lot.

IMHO the best (accurate) cheap 7.62x39 is Golden Tiger.

Wait so do they look the same or not? Both the regular and military classic look like the picture of the regular ones on midway.

As opposed to regular old x39 ammo which barely kills bunnies.

Two boxes of each to try them out and I got the package today and when I opened it one box was busted opened and there was ammo everywhere in the box. I opened all 4 boxes and the ammo looks exactly the same, me and a friend of mine spent about 5 mins trying to figure out what was different and we couldn't find any way to tell them apart .

Did I just pay more for the same exact ammo? Or is there something different I am not seeing? From the pictures on the website they look different.

The only difference between the two Wolf 7.62x39mm Russian ammo is: the one in the black box is made in the Tula Arms Factory, and the Wolf Classic (camo box) is made in the Ulyanovsk Factory.
