    AR-30 Cal legal??

I know all AR style guns from armalite are not allowed as per cali ban list, however I probably already know the answer to this, but wanted to know if the ar-30 since a bolt gun is in the same list due to name brand.

I see them for sale on broker sites saying they are cali legal, but dont really trust someone trying to make a sale.

Any bolt-action centerfire rifle that is not .50 BMG is CA-legal, as long as it meets the barrel and overall length requirements. Just click the "CA AW ID Flowchart" link above and you will see all the legal backing to this statement.

The following Armalite rifles are listed:

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

It's a .338 Lapua. At 100, it shoots sub-MOA. However, as distance increases (300+ yds.) the groups actually tighten up to sub 1/2 MOA.

All Armalite lower receivers are banned in CA. What, if I may ask, is the exact model # on the left side of your magwell? If it has the words "ArmaLite" and "M-15" or "AR-10" you need to delete your post & get rid of that thing IMMEDIATELY. If ArmaLite very recently came out with an OLL, I need to know about it!

Would you mind posting a pic of the thing? I've never heard of this & ArmaLite doesn't show it in any of their info/catalogs.
Unless I am missing something, the only way a lower could have "M4" stamped on it is if it was, for example, a Nodak Spud
with custom "one-off" rollmarks put on. Otherwise, I would think Colt would have filed a lawsuit (copyright infringement) by
                      now, no?

THIS is the one you can't have...

I set up a group buy from Armalite JUST before the 50 BMG went byebye.

Colt DID file a copyright suit against Armalite -- which is why ALL their guns are "M-15s" with a further designation. This lower sounds non-Kosher. Find someone from the CLub local to you and verify it's legality.

As mentioned they are entirely legal in anything other than 50 BMG. If you're interested in one (shameless plug) mine is sitting at City Arms for sale - at least it was there last week with two magazines. But it's in 338 Lapua Magnum.
