Hesse HAR-25 lower with Knights SR-25 upper ?

If I recalled correctly, The Hesse Arms 308 lower has a profile that fits Armalite upper but uses DPMS mags. There are many people claiming DPMS mags are compatible with KAC SR-25. If I put these two observations together, does that mean if I can get a KAC upper, I can use it for my Hesse lower ?

That would make sense IF indeed the KAC uppers can fit on Armalite type lowers. The mag thing will be fine because DPMS mags are SR-25 type. Good luck finding an SR-25 upper though. That would be pretty Fing sweet.

i just got rid of a hesse complete rifle. the dpms mags did not fit they were to big for the mag well. i had to use fal mags and cut a hole for the mag release. once i figured it out after buying armalite mags wich arent cheap and dpms mags, niether of them fit even thouhg i read that the dpms will fit.i ended up selling the complete hesse it shot great when it would feed properly out of 8 fal mags i got 3 to feed good. i would recomend selling the hesse lower or keep it if the funds are there and start over like i did. i used a cmmg mk3 lower that is dpms compatible 300.00 dpms lpk 65.00 coplete dpms upper from rguns for 599.00 bullet button 20.00 10 rd mag 17.00 roughly under 1100.00 iron ridge i believe thats what thier called has dpms compatible lowers for 250.00. this would be a good low budget build. i am happy with my cmmg build good luck

There's been quite few threads on this subject over the years, do a quick search and you'll find the info.
