    Coalinga Rifle Range

Can someone tell me about the range in Coalinga? I'd be interested to know about the facilities, membership, point of contact, etc. Thanks!

They have an excellent facility. Details are:
    • 1,000 yard range with target pits.
    • 600 yard metallic silhouette range.
    • Shotgun range.
    • Overnight camper parking with hook ups.
    • General membership is 30.00 per year.

Let me know when you do and, maybe, I'll do pit duty for you.

Well I checked out the Coalinga Rifle Club....

and was so impressed with the facilities that I became a member. I really enjoy shooting on the silhouette range all the way out to 500 meters. Great fun! It's an awesome range and only an hour drive away from home for me. Thanks for all the input.

                          membership max?

Tried calling there as they do not post their hours or which days they will be open. . . But turns out Joe says that they have reached their mebership max. Whats up with that? Anyone know know of another place I can settle in for time on my savage .308?

Looks like Sac Valley shooting center is about 2 and a bit hours from you. They have some really nice facilities -- not sure how much time you're thinking about spending at the range...

Being as my truck gets about 10 miles to the gallon, not nearly as much i would like. Lol I really appreciate the heads up on the sac range though.
