      Once the .50BMG ban was passed, you couldn't find these anywhere. They sold quickly to guys wanting to make sure they had an option to build one up down the road.

      One of these days I'll have the funds to build mine up.

        man I remembered when those where the only things you could get around here in bakersfield.

          Those are great for the Ferret / Bohica .510 DTC builds where they will be mounted to the upper permanently. Nothing looks more bubba than a .510 DTC upper and a lower with empty magwell marked CAL 5.56.

              As others have said, they look great with a .50 upper pinned onto them. They definitely have their uses.

                            This product has been on the market for years before OLLs were even considered as possibilities. At that time, this was a very legitimate alternative for Californians. They rose to meet the needs of our market. Kudos to them for it.
