Once the .50BMG ban was passed, you couldn't find these anywhere. They sold quickly to guys wanting to make sure they had an option to build one up down the road.

One of these days I'll have the funds to build mine up.

As others have said, they look great with a .50 upper pinned onto them. They definitely have their uses.

I considered getting one to register as a .50BMG alongside the FAB-10.

It has its purpose.. just a highly specialized one.

Ha no the FAB-10 was the thing to get before the BB. I still have one. Its a top loading AR. It was pretty cool......before the BB came along and bufud it into obsoleteness

This product has been on the market for years before OLLs were even considered as possibilities. At that time, this was a very legitimate alternative for Californians. They rose to meet the needs of our market. Kudos to them for it.
