Yes, but a lot of FALs were issued as semi-only because of the aforementioned control issues, just like the M14. It was only early models that had the select-fire capability with later ones having safe/semi only.

The traditional Masterkey system uses a SBS, but a shotgun without a grip or stock and an 18" barrel still meets the 26" OAL requirements. I've measured my Mossberg 500 Persuader (20" barrel), and from barrel tip to where stock meets receiver it's just over 28".

Putting it at 18" would make the AR *very* frontend-heavy, and would likely end up classifying it as an AW unless you had a fixed mag. While 12276.1(a) has a list for a grenade/flare launcher, I'm sure a judge would consider a shotgun attached to be similar in manner (keep in mind there ARE 12ga flare shells!).

the real master key doesnt hold too many rounds anyway, and I would imagine it be tiresome on your arms, same as a 203. Isnt the masterkey for breaching?? Anywho, I think the best way is to keep a dedicated shotgun slung around your back. Or get "the judge" and just have it holstered.

because MW2 is completely skill-less and a semi auto gun is the only mark of a decent player. remember i said decent, not good.
