            My buddy just bought that same Bushmaster the other day used for $600. Seemed like a good deal. His has a helluva brake on it though, shoots real nice.

                        I've been looking at those. I don't know much about their reliability or history, but I'm pretty sure the Ruger 556 is the civi version of the "550 Commando" that I use so often playing Rainbow Six Vegas LOL.

                        Looking around more and more, I realize that other posters in this thread are correct in that most of what's out there really is available in CA. The gun I've been looking hardest at is a POF .308 which is doable in CA with a BB. Just as well- it'll be nice to be able to bring my guns back with me...
