ACE SOCOM in fixed configuration -- acceptable for "featureless" build?

I have an ACE SOCOM stock on my carbine. I would like to set this up as a featureless rifle.

This stock comes with both a spring-loaded button for an adjustable configuration, and a bolt which fixes the stock in one position. The bolt replaces the button completely, fixing the stock such that it cannot be adjusted without backing off the bolt.

IIRC the bolt has to be completely taken out to move the stock; so it won't adjust itself if the bolt loosens. I will double-check on that to make sure.

Is using the bolt acceptable for avoiding California's definition of a "telescoping" or "folding" stock?

Here is a link with a photo and description:

    Notice that this page states:
"The M4 SOCOM comes with extra hardware so that it can be set up as [...] an "fixed" adjustable stock for post ban use! ( M4 SOCOM has not been approved by the BATF or state governments for so-called "post ban" use )

Yep, you're good to go if you use the "fixed" bolt. Good choice!

Unless you have a solar tactical grip wrap.
