They are CA-legal in stock form. You can use large-capacity belts/links, if you have them. If you don't have any large-cap belts/links, then you would be limited to purchasing 10-rounders.
It is a not a rifle, so the rifle AW regs don't apply. But, if they do want to call it a rifle, it would be considered a featureless rifle. The PG is not considered an evil pistol grip that protrudes below the action of the firearm, per CADOJ letter.Jack

Not entirely true.
If you have a pre-ban disintegrating belt with more than 11 rounds linked, you can link up as many rounds as you want.
Once you go below 11 rounds it is no longer a "high capacity" feeding device and you can only link together 10 rounds.
Pre-ban "high capacity" cloth belts are fine as long as they are legally owned.Comment
