    A1 muzzle device

The A1 Birdcage flash hider replaced the 3 Prong on all M16 rifles in 1967, and continued to be used until final replacement by the A2 version in 1983.The ...

The flash hider looks great but the muzzle brake version interests me

Aim Sports is pretty nice, and much cheaper. Their MSRP is only $20, but you can get it for less from one of their resellers.

Similar to A2 style brake, the open top slots and closed bottom increase muzzle control and reduce dust signature
    Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

Here's the same thing for $8

Similar to A2 style brake, the open top slots and closed bottom increase muzzle control and reduce dust signature making it compliant with California Featureless laws. The end is also blocked to reduce recoil. 1/2 x 28 threads .223/ 5.56 compatible. *This device will not reduce or remove flash. ...

It looks nice, just be advised it?s a large flash right in front of you. I have some installed. The side ported brakes are usually a little better.

@IrishJoe3, that's a heck of a price on that muzzle brake.

Retro Rifles does not have a great reputation as a business but I have not heard any complaints about their products from those who have managed to actually receive them.

While one of my builds is retro style I ended up just using the AIM A2. I did look at these, though, but once I saw reviews of the company on gun forums I decided to stay away.

I?m not trying to make a retro rifle with these. I intend to use it in a side charger build I’m doing

I ordered a A1 faux 3 prong from retro 2 years ago... never got it and no replies after asking 4 times !

I went with the Aim sports on my A1 just because I wanted to stay featureless and it's doing a good job while still looking correct(ish)

Expect VERY long delays and having to email Retro Rifles multiple times before your order ships, or you get a response to your emails. I suspect this is somebody's side hustle...that they don't actually have time for. Great products though. I got a handguard thru them. It was perfect. Now you can't complain. You were warned.
