Surefire 6P w/ LED bezel. Best bargain ever! Might wanna go with the defender series.

1" picatinny mount and you can mount anywhere.

If you don't mind a red laser, the Streamlight TLR-2 looks good.

I'm right here with him. I have 2 Streamlight TL-2 lights (standard flashlights) and I love them. As soon as I pick up my sig, I'll be getting a TLR-1 or TLR-2 for them.

If you buy one though, make sure you get the new "C4" LED. They're the newest version and are 135 lumen vs the old 90 lumen.

I have been keeping my eyes peeled for a tactical light myself. The one I have settled on is the ITAC light here: http://www.botachtactical.com/itactdl1.html

ITAC also rebrands for Sig Sauer. You can find the identical light under their brand. It has a laser with windage/elevation adjustment, strobe, etc. At 700+ lumens, this thing is blindingly bright. Most tac lights are about 125 lumens if they are on the bright side. Some are in the 50-75 lumen range.

Since you asked for best bang for the buck, I havent seen much better than this one. I do not yet own this light so my research is just based on specs and reviews. Just thought I'd throw it out there.

Sportsmans guide had an NRA special Tac light for 39 bucks. I got one and it does the job.

For a low buck solution... I would go with a 6P or G2 with a Cree drop in LED

For a great all around light, Surefire X300... Small, light and plenty bright for what most people will be using them for

As for the 700 lumen light, that if far too bright... The first time you bounce that off of a white wall you are going to be hurting

I bought this one, and for the money (with a mount and both standard and pressure switch), I think it's hard to beat...

I think for the money, its hard to beat the fenix TK series. The TK10 or TK11 would suit the bill just fine.
                    https://www.fenix-store.com/product_...oducts_id=1779 The pressure switch plus

this would probably do just fine. That compared to a surefire 6p LED you're doing great and fenix has a lifetime warranty. They get stellar reviews and to me actually FEEL better than the 6P in person. I don't know what it is but when you hold both, they just feel different. They have a whole new line of TK lights coming out this month so check https://www.fenix-store.com/ for upcoming stuff.

I bought a Pelican light with aluminum frame, unknown model. It uses 2 AA battrries, and will last 2 1/2 hours on constant light. It is pretty bright, also.

                        fenix PD30. 220 lumens; strobe; 117 lumens; 70 lumens; 9 lumens; SOS.

fits perfect in the VTAC mount.

cant beat it for $60. its an awesome LED light. runs off CR123 batteries.

                          +1

I went with a Surefire G2LED with a Cree drop in LED (from TNVC), clicky tail cap (from Surefire), and a LaRue QD mount. Since I didn't want a pressure strip, I thought this was the best choice for my $.
