I have not, but they look very low-end to me and you really have no idea what you're getting. IMO if you have to pay $51 extra for a chrome-lined barrel that should tell you it's a place to be avoided. If you're on a budget you're better off buying a Stag upper from Bravo Company or evilblackrifleshop.com (a Calguns vendor).

IIRC they resell J&T kits... they're shady as **** though

Ya, I've heard nightmare stories of people just getting bags of parts, all mixed together... Your better off just building your own lower, and buying a complete upper from somewhere for your first build.

If you want a kit you're better off going with an established company

I bought 2 kits from Del-Ton and they have chrome lined barrel upgrades too. I think it was $45 per kit. If you want chrome moly you pay less. Both rifles run perfect. Companies like Del-Ton and J&T let you pick what you want including chrome lined or not. As for AR15-Kits.com I don't know anything about them or their kits. Mark

You're better off with a quality upper and putting together a lower yourself. Get on the email notification list for a Bravo Company (BCM) and also check with G&R Tactical for a BCM upper. That will set you back $480, plus $180 for a BCM bolt carrier group (BCG) and charging handle. Then pick the rails that you like for $100-300 depending on your taste. The bottom line is that you will have a combat worthy upper instead of something iffy. BCMs sell out fast so be ready when you get the email.

Thanks for the information.. I will look into BCM and those on this site. I have a LAR Grizzly lower and the internal parts, and I just want to assemble an A2 that is reliable. Having had HBAR Colt ARs in the past, I thought I knew what I was getting into. But now after seeing all the options / uppers / gas blocks and available I see that there is a whole science and hobby to this that really doesnt interest me. I just want a reliable AR.
