    DDM4 or DDXV

Which would you choose? The cash isnt that big of a problem, but the XV price is much more appealing. I just wonder is the M4 variant worth the extra 500 bucks over the XV? Both look like great deals for the price but I'm stuck on which one I want.

The M4 comes with all the 'goodies' but the overall price of the XV is taunting me, I cant tell if the M4 goodies are all worth it when everything is said and done.

I guess it depends if you're ever plan to upgrade rails, add VFG, etc. and if you like the stuff included with the M4. the rail alone is like $300.

I dont like the longer rail, personally. Both are really good deals in terms of quality for price.

Both are a good deal. My only issue with the M4 is the rails. I just don't like that they go past the gas block. It just isn't my style.

My vote would be the VX.

This seems to be my gripe too. It looks weird like that.

          I'd vote for the DDM4.

I know some people aren't fans of the extended rail system, but I like it.

I also dont liek how far the M4 rail goes out, but it doesnt bother me aenough to not get it.

I just think for the price, the quailty, and the looks of the XV outweigh the M4.

I tell you what though, If I wasnt so anal about FTF gun buying id go to peachstate guns online and get the DDM4 with the 1000 rounds of ammo for just about 1700.

Buttttttt since they arent 'local' I gotta settle without it. Right now Im leaning towards the XV. i guess ill make my final judgement for when I get to hold them.

The XV is worth it because they're shipping them with the cold hammer forged barrels. The M4's don't have those barrels yet.

XV + Omega 7.0 rail is THE way to go

It might look weird, but it's vastly superior from a usability perspective.

You can use a more forward hold (as you should), you can mount a light on top (as you should).

I've ended up with burn marks on my hand from gas blocks with carbines. Not fun or pretty.

i dunno, i dont much care for the looks of the DDM4 rail, the practicality is what intrigues me.

                          Absolutely.

The DDM4 isn't pretty, but neither are burn marks on my mitts.

Interesting enough if you move the VFG back towards the receiver it looks 10x better. The marketing photo with the VFG right under the gas block doesn't do it any justice.
