Anybody running a CMMG RDB Radial Delayed Blowback 9mm?

It's a pretty cool idea, over a traditional blowback.

I'm thinking of building one that uses Glock mags.

I'm going to shoot it in the PCC class in USPSA.

What's the point of an SBR? What are you going to do with it?

I got the 5.5 inch barrel and bolt carrier and have on my AR pistol. CMMG and mean arms makes a follower and spring together you can change out a standard AR mag or buy complete mags from them and work in your standard lower. I like it a lot more than a standard blowback. Want to get there 10mm radial as well.

There are guys who run SBR in PCC. Less weight and less length to deal with.

Don't use the mean arm mags for USPSA since you would be limited on the mag capacity.

i have my blockback 9mm working great seems like their system is a waste in 9mm

but for 40,45,10mm it seems like a dream

Those parts are indeed hard to come by. I put myself on CMMG's back-in-stock notification and on their dealers' and waited for a few months.

Good to see they have a pre-configured RDB Mk9 lower. That would make building a RDB AR9 much easier once you get the barrel and BCG.

There's a reason why the MP5 and other carbines are so short. With certain powder/bullet combos you'll get diminishing returns on a 16" plus barrel. In my opinion rifle length is for rifle calibers. That's just my opinion though. Think WWII the tommy gun had a 12" barrel. Light and fast are what those type of firearms are for.

Yeah. I dont get why some keep posting about going sbr when it isn't legal in ca. And uspsa also forbids "pistol" configuration guns that uses a brace from competing. I knew so many people that did that when braces and "pistols" was gaining popularity

I have both a Juggernaut AR9 lower, and Lead Star AR9 lower that both use Glock mags.
