I don't think you'll find a better trigger for the money. Take up and break are great. My only complaint it the actual trigger itself, it is very wide and not rounded up front, just some simple bevels.

It's not really that hard to put one in and check it yourself.

Great trigger at a fantastic price.

As many have said, MBT-2S is a great trigger at a great price. It breaks much cleaner than the SSA and very close to an SSA-E. Two other differences is the MBT trigger bow is flatter across with noticeable edges and the reset is
Not as pronounced as the Geissele triggers. One thing I’d advise is to install the heavy trigger spring in the MBT if you plan to use it for anything more than bench shooting.

The light one isn't crazy light, about 3 pounds iirc.

I was wondering about that. I am sure I will end up trying both.

I had one of these sitting around for the past 4 years. Finally installed it and this was the first thing I noticed. Then I realized that I have a bad habit of not keeping my finger pad on the front of the trigger but rather on the edge. The MBT fixed that issue for me.

Just installed mine a few days ago. Great trigger for the money. If you're coming from the stock LPK one, well worth it

I currently hiperfire 3g, some of those nickel boron standard triggers and the larue mbt. I've also used the cmc and rise armament drop ins. The mbt has made a convert to 2 stage triggers unless I'm looking for just fast splits. As a practical use trigger it's fantastic

Get it. They are great triggers. Maybe not as good as a two stage SSA-E but also not as expensive.

Great feedback everyone, much appreciated. All I need now is a free weekend to build a rifle and install.
