Help looking for tools

Hi all,

I have a customer who wants me to source a couple of tools for them. They are in need of an armorer's block for the AR15 platform. More specific they need it for the A2 front sight post. Similar to these:

The other tool they are looking for is an AR10/308 Ejector Tool. Similar to this one:

The problem is that both tools have been OOS for quite some time and they need pretty big quantities on a regular basis. I've seen a couple of other ones that are also out of stock.

I have both the Brownells orange FSB block and one like the Wheeler that does a lot more than just the FSB and I keep the wheeler like one on my bench and don't even use the orange one anymore.
Since I started using an air riveter to knock out taper pins, I don't even need a bench block for pin removal anymore.
I built my own 308 AR ejector compressor years before Brownells had one to sell.

For an ejector removal tool, you can get the Brownells' one that works with both AR15 and AR10/LR308 bolts.

They already have a tool for the AR9/AR15 which is why they need one for the AR10. I've been looking around and they seem to be a pretty simple design. I'm thinking about checking with one of the machine shops I work with to see how much it would cost to make one for me. They are going to need about 800 units a year so it might be worth doing my own.

At that volume, you can have them made and sell them at a profit.
You just have to be prepared to make 500-1000 units at a time so make SURE that the design is good and get a written commitment from your gunsmithing school before you actually make a production run.

Yeah, I've already reached out to two local companies that I've worked with in the past. They are both good with small quantities at a time. The orders will be for 200 units at a time.

I'm also working with another company that makes one for the AR-15 and is already working on an AR-10/308 version. They also have the ability to make a sight block for me. They are working on the quote and I should know more tomorrow.
