    First AR Build "Lefty"

With pictures. Can't wait to go test fire my first AR-15 build. Being a left handed rifle shooter, there were some uncommon parts involved

I got the barrel + lefty upper + gas + bgc as a fully assembled package from Pro2A Tactical, the "ambi" lower from Juggernaut Tactical, the stock from Thordsen, the trigger + buffer + sights + optics + lower parts kit + mags from Optics Planet, the "ambi" mag release from Botach, the mag couplers from RJK Ventures.

Huge thank you to NorCal Firearm Supply for DROS and ammo transfer on this project.

Nice. It's on my list of things to build too.

    Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

Nicely done. Use the same Gibbz upper on my LH SCR.

That looks nice and clean, since "hoot" is currently popular on calguns, I will say it's gonna be a hoot to shoot! I have two guns with that stock, it is a nice way to keep the pistol grip ergonimics without going fixed mag or featureless grip like Sparrow Dynamics (that I also use).

Took a trip to my BLM spot yesterday and ran 250 rounds through this without a single issue. So much fun! Being my first time ever shooting an AR, I had to get used to the single stage, virtually no travel, RA 3.5lb trigger. And in the limited time out, I probably would have had even more fun had I read the Burris scope instructions before I started messing with the dials. Luckily I the PDF on my phone, and got it dialed back in quickly with the help of a cheap laser bore sight! Next time I go out, gonna pull off the scope and play with the iron sights.

Yeah, that's a good rifle. Glad it's working reliably.

One year later... Looking back, this was a great learning experience building my first rifle, and hella fun firing it! Sadly, I've not taken it out since that first time, so I'm considering selling it. Not counting ammo or background check, I put around $2k into the build.

Asking everyone's opinion on how much you think it might sell for?

Shockingly less than what you spent, unfortunately....You might have better luck disassembling and selling components.
