    Polytech M1A

I have one of the Polytech M1A / M14 clones complete with plastic/ fiberglass upper handguard for heat dissipation. As I'm unlikely to be firing that much I was wondering if the available wooden handguards are interchangeable on this rifle.

May be chinese but I love this rifle - super accurate and runs well with any ammo.

These Chinese clones are sacrilege. No way I could find any happiness owning one or shooting one. Just being honest.

Competition improves the product. Like you don't need a stupid muzzle brake in kali if you have the slotless non-flash hider.

Be careful. Those rifles had a tendency to go full auto if you rested the rifle on the magazine.

The polytech has a forged receiver where the SA is cast... and possibly not in spec.

What is the difference between forged polytech and cast SA receivers - can anyone elaborate please?

No functional difference.... Some manufacturers use forgings, cast, or billet steel.
