      I managed to borrow 3 different brands of ammo and all 3 ran perfectly, I guess it just doesn’t like this Freedom Munitions ammo.

          Well, if the Freedom ammo is locking the bolt back on an empty mag, its not the power factor of the ammo. The ammo is cycling the gun fine since its pushing the bolt far enough back to lock it. Since you try other ammo and it runs fine, then its still anmo related... maybe OAL, casing out of spec, something more physical with the ammo.

          Some guns just don't like some types of ammo.

            Maybe try a steel mag if you have one, might give you a little more room in the mag vs Magpul.
