I had originally boguht a $10 ebay special. What a joke. The real one was like $50 used. Way different, although they looked pretty similar.

I originally decided I liked the grip pod after spendimg some time in the sandbox. Wasn't on my m4, but yeah

The version 2 is even better. They redid the grip area, with a very good stippled surface (reminds me of what Sig uses on their E2 pistol grips) and made the grip more ergonomic (more oval). Handled one recently and was impressed.

Hunt what with it ? I no longer hunt rabbits, squirrels, never hunted coyotes etc and .223 just don't work for antelope and deer in rough weather where I hunt. Wyoming says its legal, but I consider .223/5.56 not up to the job there. Target shoot, maybe, when the ranges get off of the mask BS in the Bay Area etc. Too far to Manteca for target shooting, just a trip to zero the scopes on my other rifles before the fall seasons. Calif hunting is finished forever for me. A friend uses his AR 10 there, Wyoming, for deer and antelope, big difference.

I’ve taken my 6.8 SPC II AR hog hunting. I also recently got a .450 Bushmaster upper.

I’d take my LR-308 too, but it weighs too much. I’d rather take my bolt action .308 or .30-06 at that point.
