    Selling bullet button RAW's...

Can I take my bullet button RAW's to Arizona, replace the bullet button with a regular mag release and sell the guns private party to Arizona residents with Valid state ID?

You can take the gun to AZ, replace the bullet button, and then transfer the gun to a AZ buyer by using a FFL.

Residents of different states must conduct firearms transfers via FFLs.

Or as noted above you can ship it in parts. However you cannot advertise or offer a AW for sale from within CA so proceed carefully. You would need someone else outside CA to do the marketing if you are in CA.

Thinks twice before selling. You may never get a chance to own another one. Unless you're worried about Uncle Joe coming for it.

            Great explanation and duly noted.

I own a number of the original Roberti-Roos RAW's with no bullet button crap. I only did the bullet button guns because I felt left out of the "building from a stripped lower" movement. Built them, all Spikes Honey Badger lowers with sequential serial numbers and BCM or Armalite uppers, took them to the range to test fire and BZO and they have been in the safe ever since and I cant ever see a need for them.

Sell it and get one of these:

The all new 2021 "Uncle Joe Urban Assault Shottie".
This will be the only legal "Assault Weapon" in a year after Kamala and Beto get through gutting the Bill of Rights at Joe's behest.
For home defense, just "point it out the window and let a couple rounds loose", like our new Prez likes to say.

If not, the gun would have to transfer through an AZ FFL.

I thought handgun transfers required FFL by federal statute but long guns depended upon state law and if the transaction was FTF or not?

long guns can be sold/transferred by a FFL in one state to a visiting resident from another state, FTF, if the FFL follows the laws of the buyers state. That eliminates the option for Ca buyers to go out of state and buy long guns from FFLs (aside from C&R for 03 buyers) but it does work for buyers from most other states.

But it does not apply to private party transactions. Private parties must use a FFL if they reside in different states, even if doing business FTF. 18 USC 922 (a)(3) and (a)(5)

Wait a minute, cannot offer your Rifle for sale in ANOTHER state if you live in Ca? I'd like to see proof of that.
