I’d buy a new BCG and then keep it.

I have to really hate a gun to even consider selling it.

Buy a Bolt Carrier Group for about $150 or so. Clean and oil the weapon.
Sell it with the Ammo for $1100. In the classifieds here.

Read the rules first. Good luck.

By the way. A gun store will give you half price.
My opinion is sell it in the classifieds. Read other for sale ads to get knowledge on
        what to say.

Why do you need a store to ship it, cant you do it yourself?

Why can't you ship it yourself? Doesn't the BCG fit in a small flat rate box? Should only cost you $8 to mail

Well Springfield won’t let me ship it myself for whatever reason. Also, I’m not 100% sure but I’m 99% sure it’s the BCG due to it breaking screws recently and it shooting only 1 shot a time. I guess I will just send it in for repairs and then sell it.

Breaking screw? as in loose gas key screws? If so, it should be a relatively easy fix. Or just buy a new toolcraft BCG

A fixed rifle will always sell for much more than a broken one. Same with cars and many other things.

A Palmetto premium bolt is a higher quality part than a Springfield bolt carrier assemble.

Nothing illegal about shipping it to them yourself. Maybe they don’t know that because you are from Ca? Honestly though if there’s extra fees for this because of them forcing you maybe consider just buying another BCG and test fire then sell. Unless you have a gas tube that is bent or too long it seems like an easier way to go. Good luck in whatever you choose. Heck can anyone loan you a bcg to function check it?

Take it to fed ex with a big box and bubble wrap and tape. Spend the $30 to have it repaired. Otherwise even if you’re super clear about selling a broken gun you risk damaging your online gun sales reputation depending on how things are Interpreted.

Or take it to the post office and mail it. Separate it so you don't need such a long box.

Check the gas rings. Turn the bolt upside down and stand it up on the bolt. If it collapses on it's own weight then it needs new gas rings...1 dollar fix...
