Removable FIN for Ar-15 grip??

Solar Tactical (gun shop in the bay area) makes the kydex fin grips in house. They've been a little busy but maybe give them a call/ email?

That's weird, it's not like it costs anything to send a darn file.

The file is someone's intellectual property. Exile Machine sold the file to someone when they went out of business. But I guess not sharing movies and music is weird since it doesn't cost anything.

That was what I remember since Exile openly provided the CAD for the Ergo and BCM grips previously.

FinGrips.com ... he'll make a fin for any style grip you want. Slides on and off in a matter of half a second. I use velcro rather than screws to keep it attached.

They're $35

This ! It's what I have on my rifle and you get to keep your stock grip while still complying by having the fin grip sleeve that you can slip on or remove when you're out of state with a few turns of a screwdriver in 1-2 minutes.

I'm pretty sure that would meet the very definition of a pistol grip.
The fin has to DENY the ability of your thumb to wrap around the grip so you can grip it like normal.

Go read the law that defines a pistol style grasp.
ANY featureless compliance grip needs to defeat that definition.
