and this is based on what? I believe no one here has done the extensive amount of testing between the two systems than I have. Both my products require featureless and maglock.

All my auto releasing magazines are even pretty close to the same speed at which I can change a magazine with the AR Maglock and Kingpin.

I have proved that I can clear malfunctions just as easily with a maglock system including type 3.

I can guarantee you none of the testing is just to look cool.

if there is any limitation to maglock specifically the system I designed I will concede that its 10 rds only but as stated above when the SHTF all that crap goes out the window.

So again...your findings are based on what?

For or those who can afford a few hundred dollars above the cost of a cheap AR build (roughly typical Mini 14 pricing), prefer a traditional rifle feel with AR modularity, and don't want featureless compromises on their AR's, then the Fightlite SCR is the perfect product for them.

The SCR shoots much softer than a AR due to the angled buffer spring, which can make a worthwhile difference in the larger calibers, plus it's better for scabbard use IMO.

As to the cost, proprietary designs cost money to design and manufacture, stock and distribute/support etc, all with a smaller economics of scale vs the already established AR market, so it needs to cost a bit more.

Ya'll should be happy that someone actually designed and marketed a option for those in the restricted states!

        Stay safe out there!
Yeah well, I am not knocking it totally but proprietary parts would be really hard to get in hard times. If it were a little cheaper, as in, not much more than a standard ar lower, it would have more appeal (to me). With a standard featureless ar, its still possible to swap parts if needed.
You are right that it is nice to have other featureless options out there, good for them, and you.

The CARRIER is included. Not the bolt. Not the BCG. I have two. If you get a lower from somewhere NOT charging MSRP like Grabagun, the lowers were $434 and $450 when I bought mine. I agree. If you think they are too expensive, they are not worth it to you. Lots of people buy them.

In really hard times no one is going to have time to prosecute you on a gun charge. Now,they might confiscate it,but if it's to that point they are confiscating featureless as well.

Not quite what I was meaning, but ok. I was thinking a panic buying time, or a law passes where no parts can be bought online, ect... With a featureless ar, it would still be possible to trade critical operating parts with friends, family and others.

Is the lower parts kit the same or is it their design also?

I would agree that you're probably going to be the best/fastest at your setup. I've watched all your videos and man, the level of geeking out on those parts are just unreal!

I think when I add it all up though, (custom mag, custom take down pin, custom safety, custom bolt catch...) I would agree with OceanBob, simple is best. One push of a button, magazine dropped. Insert new mag, done. In my mind, there's just no way around less is more.

When me and my buddies are shooting - we like to exchange rifles... and when I introduce them to my AR it's just gotta sound like "here's the safety, here's the magazine release, just push it."

I get it for sure and yes simple is best.

For me when I first designed the Kingpin it was without bolt holdback because I didnt think it was possible. Enter AR Maglock and I had them remake the Gen2 and Gen 4 to my specs and voila...a mag locked rifle became simple. Not ideal...but simple(r)

None of this comes without training and repetition no matter what system you use. You can't expect to have a lifetime of an automatic transmission car and hop right into a manual and say all is good.

It just flusters me when someone says one is better than the other because to some points it just may be true while others it just isn't. Everyone has their preferences and NEEDS.

Anyone ever stop to think someone with an injury that shoots an AR may just need a VFG to stabilize their shooting platform? I have quite a few friends with chronic tendonitis in their arms as well as thumb arthritis and not having a stable thumb grip tends to hurt as well as not being able to hold the rifle properly. a featureless rifle is not the answer for these people so it is NOT the best for them.

Again coming from this geek that uses both systems and yes I have both arthritis and tendonitis, I see the benefits to both but you're not going to get good at your featureless or your maglock without taking it seriously and only saying well i can use 30 rds and I can drop magazines or well can you clear a type 3 with that?

To each his own (only if properly educated)

                          again I agree.

plenty of threads here where people have stated "i tried featureless and decided on maglock" and "I just couldn't get the hang of maglock and so went featureless"

Believe me...i've read them all. Those are somewhat educated decisions based on the level of what they're willing to put in to learn the system. This definitely points to your 'simple is best' statement.

You have no idea the level of frustration and blood and sweat i've put into designing my products all with the mindset "simple is best" hanging over my head.

I've been selling the Freedom Follower product for almost a year now and not one customer has called/pm'd or messaged me saying that they are having issues. Honestly something is awry with that. There is NO WAY i have 100% success rate based on the amount of failures I've had with R&D with that product prior to me releasing it and saying it is launchable but i'll take it.

Not so much with the Kingpin but I believe that everyone doesnt run the same AR IQ as someone that is in the business or someone who really takes the time to understand and train their firearm platforms. installing a Kingpin should be simple and it is but it isn't for everyone nor is even using it but I did my darnedest to make it as simple as possible
