Oh yeah....then the earth splits open with me on one side and the (off roster gun) on the other. Then appeared a large red-glowing pit with gavin newscum, diane frankenstein and governor "brown the drain" at the bottom of it, waving their pitchforks at me.

but the most consistent argument here for featureless is that you can't clear malfunctions nor do you have bolt hold back which is clearly untrue.

I train differently. I'm a low round count guy because anyone can press a trigger. Doesnt mean you'll hit a target but I'd bet if I were to focus on malfunctions and stuff that really matters when your primary goes down I dont need 30 rds to do it. 2 to 3 rounds to get to my induced malfunction and clear as quickly as you've trained. Case head separation need not apply nor the token squib but again training to your secondary in such a case is paramount to whatever compliant device you have or use or claim to be the Go To here in California.

again its everyones choice but I defer to my original statement that "there is no best. just what's best for you" Featureless isn't best for everyone and neither is maglock
None of this really matters to me.
I have RAW's so I don't concern myself with featureless or fixed mag limitations.

Of course. So you could lead with that and render your argument pointless as the OP can only deal with maglock or featureless.

            "Best" is subjective.
I was satisfied using the Thordsen stock with a thread protector.
It has a Seekins compensator in this photo

I like the Thordsen GEN2 and GEN3 FRS-15, grip fins with thumb rests like the SI, MIAD/BACKFIN, VISM... and the Fightlite SCR lowers. Featureless.

When they were $450 or $470 for a lower minus a donor bolt, I think they were a great deal. Now maybe wait for a sale, but agree it might not be the best if you only have one.
