I don't recall all the legalities because none of it applies to me but doesn't it get classified as a "title-1 other firearm" with a 26" OAL?

I'm not here to argue, nor do I even care since that firearm as it stands is completely irrelevant to me in California. But I mean, even Franklin's CA12 is legal here with a pistol grip. They made an announcement that it's on roster. http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...highlight=CA12

If that firearm was over 26” with the brace folded then the ATF presently considers it a “firearm” which can have a vertical forward grip without being an AOW, unless it is intended to be concealed upon the person.

At the state level, I believe every state that bans SBRs also has an assault weapons ban that would cover this firearm. With the brace folded it is certainly less than 26”. At least that is my first impression looking at the picture.

That is Marc Krebs’s personal gun. As he is a manufacturer, I’m not sure what limitations is he faced with. It’s also possible that he is considering the gun’s resale implications. He is in IL if that makes any difference.
