They charge more for a 5 cent pin. The adjustables are usually on sale for $35.
The stock "stock" with a rubber stock stopper is cheaper than the CA version.

Heading to the range. Will post later. But I did send my email to your pm.

There is a good picture of the original rough cut on the link below. I’ve cleaned it up a bit since then. If you take your time, you should be able to make it look nice.

Oh, got it, thanks. I thought they were the same price. Also some people aren’t comfortable with the Stock Stop, because you can make the stock telescoping without needing tools.

I agree, and I don’t use it for that reason, but it is a very popular product, and I don’t fault people for using it... but I personally prefer options that require a tool to remove the stock.

You'd have to completely remove the stock (with the pin going over the buffer tube divot) and then you can remove the plastic piece.

                  Agreed.

At the beginning of this mess I roll pinned just the lever on an LMT thinking I was good. Then someone here pointed out, all I needed to do was grab the lever pin with my fingers and pull down. Not good.

                  Here's my latest Sparrow build.

                  IMG_0185.jpg

I roll pinned the lever and form fit a little kydex into the lever pin gap. (both sides in case one decides to pop out) 100% reversible with only one tiny hole left.

I haven't been to the range yet with this set up yet. (Due to fire risk) But I added a little skate board tape to the bottom of your grip. I think this will make it work very well for me.

Right, but what tools to you need to remove the stock?

You need a burly man or some pliers or tools to push the level all the way down to release it from the buffer tube.

I don't worry about that stuff here. The last BLM agent that inspected my rifle didn't know crap about the laws and aftermarket products nor the need for them.

It's just like 10+ round mags here, if I say I bought them during Freedom week I get a mulligan.

Depending on your stock, a flathead screwdriver or like this:

I understand this makes some people uncomfortable but this is no more difficult to swap than a muzzle brake would be for a flash hider, or a resurgent arms grip for a standard grip...it's all the same degree of inconvenience. Not sure why the stock would get special treatment.

I'm more annoyed they've legislated me into a felon twice, and that it costs me to comply with their bull****.

I saw a previous video or post, where instead the pin is removed rendering the knob useless. You would need a tool to pull the spring down to unlock the stock...? Then the stock stop becomes a moot point.
