    Muzzle Brake Question...Help Please

I have been doing alot of research but couldn't come up with anything. Can anyone tell me if this muzzle brake is legal to have on my chinese SKS, which has a dragunov stock and a fixed 10 round mag?

Any muzzle break is legal. Its when you start adding flash suppressors, that you have to start counting parts to avoid the evil assault rifle status.

If it has a FIXED mag, I thought you could put all the evil features you wanted onto it? Maybe there are still 922 compliance issues?

        Yes it is legal:
You can not have a "flash supresser" on any firearm in calif. Period.
        Failure is not an option

I can put all the flash suppressors I want on my bolt guns and my fixed mag semi-autos.

Aren't there some C&R issues here?

Was the Chinese SKS imported under C&R rules?

As I recall - this thread was ongoing awhile back - can't make appreciable changes to nonsporting guns imported under C&R - even changing the stock!

Thanks for all the replies guys. I talked to a guy at DOJ, he said as long as I have fixed mag, it'll would be legal to have on sks, even if it was a suppresor. The guy I talked to his name is Jeff from the field rep od DOJ. Tam

FLASH supressor, not sound or noise suppressor....

got one of those on my Mini. Bushmaster sells them. AK47 muzzlebrake. It in no way reduces flash, cuz I still see a big ol ball of flame.

Does anyone know the trick to punch out the pin that attached the front sight to the barrel? I tried everything from soaking it over night with WD40 and everything else, broke a pin puncher, it didn't move a bit. should I put it on the drillpress and drill it out?
