So how do you know the Diamondback isn't US made? They do highlight NEW on the website, so maybe a previous generation had imported parts, i don't know.

The price is not outrageously low for an entry level rifle. I haven't checked prices recently, but I've heard of guys building ARs for $400 using PSA parts. I was at Sportsmans Warehouse a couple weeks before Christmas and they had the M&P Sport II on sale for $400.

Just wondering where you get your information that contradicts the information on the manufacturer's website.

These are EXCELLENT rifles for the price. Former Bushmaster owner started the company (when bushmaster was still a respected AR builder).

Iv fired a couple of them. Buddy has one he has only used steal cased ammo in and it just runs and runs. Good staking on the gas key and castle nut.

This over a DB and S&W any day.

My friend has one, it shoots just fine. It's probably on par with PSA.
