DB-15 ar 15 for $399 brand new at my store, worth it?

We have a few DB-15 ar 15s that are on sale for $399 brand new with a quad rail and either maglocked or featureless, nosights but has the ability to have optic/sights put on out of the gate. Anyone have experiance with these rifles? I just want something simple to shoot, im not familiar with building rifles from scratch and dont have the money to do that.

We also have the ruger sr556 and SW mp15 sport 2 both on sale for $499, standard A2 furniture with magpul flip up rear sights.

Im leaning to the DB because i cant fnd alot of reasons to ignore an ar under $500 including tax and dros etc thats brand new. Ive also heard that DB is really good at there customer service etc.

Im in between these and or a marlin 336 in 45-70 they have for $550 or the c308 for $650 thats used!

Im getting side tracked so apologies there but i cant get all 4 options so wat to pick the best, the AR sales prices end at the end of the year.

I would get the MP15 for $100 more

"It is currently CA legal to modify a double-action revolver into a single-action revolver and modify a single-action revolver into a double-action revolver.

CA DOJ BOF stance on modifying handguns only applies to dimensionally compliant bolt-action single-shot pistols and dimensionally compliant break-open single-shot pistols.
^It does not apply to revolvers, manually operated repeating pistols, and semi-auto pistols." ~~ Quiet

The resale on a name brand will be significantly higher if you want to sell it ever. also warranty will probably be nonexistent on the DB compared to a name brand, if that matters. if there is an issue you will know it your first time out usually.

Never heard of db before. This review is positive.

The Diamondback DB15 is a great entry-level AR-15 that provides a lot of features you don't typically find when you're shopping on a budget.

If its milspec get the lesser one. AR's at this price level don't have much resale value these days. You're gonna mod the crap out of it once you get it anyways.

Do yourself a favor and get the Smith & Wesson. Diamondback is kind of an off-brand and definitely is not going to have the warranty support and other things you expect from a big manufacturer

If you want a gun that is made with a bunch of parts from China then get the DB.

The Diamondback website says the rifles are made entirely in the US. Can't really go wrong for $400, but i would rather spend the extra $100 for the M&P.

Windham is the company that used to be Bushmaster before they got bought out.

Diamondback has been around for several years in the AR market and like someone stated earlier. ARs are all the same. Barrel quality is important but most of the lower end ARs come with standard quality from what I've seen and owned.
