I bought a couple of Sparrows to replace the crappy Exile Machine Hammerheads. Much much better.
sigpicC'mon man, shouldn't we ban Democracks from Cal-Guns? Or at least send them to re-education camps.

The build quality, color selection, aesthetic, and packaging design are excellent IMO.

Comfort was dramatically increased after I added a generous radius to the edges of my endplates with a Dremmel, I also covered the sharp castle nut with a 1.5" long piece of black rubber tubing I cut from 25/28mm bike inner tube from Amazon.

I like my current ambi safeties, so I'm still on the fence on Sparrow's, but they do look mechanically inovative, so props to them. After some practice with this set up I'm snipping the safeties on and off naturally just with my index finger. I think replacing the forward assists with a plug will clear some space for my knuckles and make my technique smoother, I've always planned to remove my FAs anyway since I've never use them. A slick side upper would be ideal.
+1 on rounding off the edges of the end plate for added comfort. Any pics of the rubber tubing over the castle nut?

        Sure thing!

        Fuzzy iPhone pics, sorry.

The ergonomic comfort is worth the small trouble.

I cold blued the plates but it wears off quickly with handling, they do look darker in person though.

The rubber inner-tube was the cleanest inexpensive solution I could think of.
On the OD, the piece is just slightly over an inch in length. The grey, it's about 1.5 inches long. I prefer the longer piece. The rubber feels sturdy, and there's a whole lot more of it if it breaks. Lots more
Here's the exact model 25/28mm tube I ordered:
        Schwinn SW75839-6 Bicycle Tube 700c, 25/28mm

A parked or melonited radiused endplate and rubber sleeve would be a nice optional product that Sparrow and other venders with similar grips could offer.

BTW, I dig your KISS black MOE midlength build. I've been wanting to build one for a long time so I can mount a bayonet

Very nice work! Thanks for posting! We designed the radiused endplate about a year ago but never made it. It's about time now that we know there is enough people out there that would buy it. We've been working on a plug/storage solution for our grip. That will probably come next.

Thanks everyone for your support and positive feedback!!

I'm just here to +1 Sparrow Grips and add some pictures. I like the idea of covering the castle nut with rubber.

Nice! I'm definitely one of those people if the price is right.

There is a market for this. There are some available but the ones I've seen have a QD hole which is impossible to use in a featureless setup like this. So I encourage you to bring them to market.

Any chance of making a "slim" or "small" version, maybe tapered toward the bottom of the grip or more narrow Height? I've been trying to figure out what feels slightly off about mine and figured it's either the width or distance from the top to where the fingers wrap around it. It's not enough to make it uncomfortable to use but feels like the grip is a little big for my hand in some way. I don't have tiny baby hands either, before anyone says it (large-XL glove size) Lol. Thanks for innovating!

Major props to Sparrow dynamics. I use there grips on carbines. As for as the endplate issue, Thordson already make a chamfered end plate.
As far as ambi safety, I still like using my thumb, so I went with the resurgent arms extended lever safety. (Sparrow May consider adding a left side extended safety lever to their ambi setup as their next product.
With that said, I was looking for a featureless solutions for AR 308 rifle tube PRS stock bench guns. I went with the strike industries mega fin because if the thumb shelf but it left no room for a tradition ambi safety lever. The Sparrow dynamics clockable safety was the solution. Clocking the left side normal at a 90 degree throw, and the right side straight down for safe. Then when you move your thumb onto the shelf, you push the lever forward into the fire position.

My complements to all the innovating manufacturers for the creative solution to help us comply with SB880.
