Tried a Sparrow grip setup with their ambi safety (Quick review)

So I finished my Aero lower with a palmetto kit and decided to try a Sparrow setup since people seemed to like them.

My first impression is it looks very nice all things considered. The grip position is similar to a shotgun so it doesn't take to long to get used to(I've been using Exile Machine which I also like).

I really like the sparrow 60/90 ambi safety switch. Its easy to manipulate with your index finger and really complements the sparrow grip.

    Overall a excellent featureless setup.

    Your lever is on backwards?
"It is currently CA legal to modify a double-action revolver into a single-action revolver and modify a single-action revolver into a double-action revolver.

CA DOJ BOF stance on modifying handguns only applies to dimensionally compliant bolt-action single-shot pistols and dimensionally compliant break-open single-shot pistols.
^It does not apply to revolvers, manually operated repeating pistols, and semi-auto pistols." ~~ Quiet

The select lever was installed backwards by choice?

          Nice review! Thanks for posting.

The lever is not only backwards, but also down at 30 degrees... on purpose.
I designed it that way when I realized the shortcomings of normal ambi safeties.
The levers can be installed 6 different ways. It makes it configurable for different featureless grip setups, or works great for pistol grips too.

Here is how I like mine setup...

I just installed mine the other day.. just the grip at the moment but I am considering the saftey too. I have to say I was pleasently suprised with the grip and was easy to handle the gun and comfortable.

I just use a sheet metal screw that goes in at a 45 degree angle at the bottom of the plunger. If you look down there you'll see a small hole(magpul moe stock) and you just screw it in. Easy and reversible if you want to change the stock length.

Got the screws at Orchard supply hardware. Just paint black to finish or find some that already come in black.

Awesome! We get the “pleasantly surprised” a lot. I think most people think it would be extremely awkward and find out quickly that it feels similar to holding a traditional rifle stock. Our safety is not required, but it does make it a nicer setup ergonomically.

                    Thanks for your support!

Thanks for your support! Love to see it when it’s done.
PWS has posted some pretty sweet PCC’s on their Instagram page. Recently I posted a video an awesome customer sent me of them competing in USPSA PCC division with our grip.

+1 on the ambi with their grip for a featureless setup.

Tried Thorsden and fin grips, Sparrow is by far my favorite.
