    DPMS 308 10/19 Magazine ???

I just recently finished my .308 build using a POF lower and a FA upper. I have a few of the 10rd DPMS mags but wanted to see if anone has seen or heard of a 10/20 option? I know DPMS makes 10 and 19rd mags, so i guess it would technically be a 10/19 mag.

I've seen a few posts on here about converting mags, however I'm still a little concerned about the legality of it all in addition to the ability to actually get any of the 19rd mags in CA.

    Any input would be appreciated.

Keep your eye peeled at midwayUSA or 44mag.com, they come along every once in a while. In fact they may be at 44mag right now. I cant wait until the SR-25 pmags come out so I can make 10/20s!

I bought my friends 308 AR with a Fulton lower and a DPMS upper. He gave me a 10/19 magazine a regular 10 rounder. The 10/19 has a rivet popped on the back.

I converted a 19rd DPMS mag to accept 10. I used a .120" strip of aluminum & bent it into a "U" shape. After inserting the strip indide the mag, I placed a tiny tig weld on the bottom of the flooplate where it meets the body in the rear corner. Worked awesome & no chance of a legal issue with the floorplate welded.

Thanks for the heads up. Sounds like I just need to be patient and keep an eye out. Will either of the vendors above ship the large cap mags to CA if I intend to CA legalize them?

The 10/20 mags have an aluminum block set in place by an aluminum rivet fastened through the floor plate. It has a 10 round short spring so if you can legally own a high cap an M-14 20 round magazine spring is required.
