Decent .223 Federal ammo price at Wal Mart in Santa Maria, Ca

Hey guys, giving you central coast locals a heads up the Santa Maria Wal Mart has 100 rounds of Federal 55grain FMJ for $39 . Pretty good deal I figure if you don't want/can't order online cause they are all sold out. They have a couple thousand rounds there, but shouldn't last long! I already bought my stash, so clean em out!

I see the 50 rounders for 26 bucks fairly often. I passed on the two boxes I saw the other day 'cause its too damn much for .223!

Same box here at the Marysville Walmart was $36.97 I believe.
Proudly nestled all snugly and warm in Hillary's basket. She even made room for my bibles and guns!

I picked up 800 rounds of Federal and 200 of the Winchester tonight. Now I need to get a 223 I'm not looking to get an AR or AK or SKS style of rifle, just a regular old-style looking gun. Any recommendations? Not looking to spend a lot like those doing builds are doing

I like the Ruger Mini 14. It is reliable, reasonably priced, fairly accurate, well supported in parts and accesories and semi automatic. Check out the new laminated wood stocks for a different look.

Bit of a thread hijack, but you could get an RAA Saiga in .223.

farm and fleet advertised 200 round packs for $76 in the flier last week.

of course they don't actually have any to sell.

Santa Maria Walmart seems to have a good selection of ammo when the other local Walmarts are always out. They always have a ton of .40 and have had a good supply of .45. Just waiting for them to get more HP in.

That is only slightly more than I paid online for some cheap steel-case. And I had to buy 1000 to get that price. Sonofa*****!

I hate going to Wal-Mart, in fact I'm pretty sure my own personal hell will be a Wal-Mart. But the AR is hungry and my wallet is light...
