    AR10 Ammo

I recently purchased an AR10 and i am wondering which ammo to get? I dont want any corrosive ammo and i am not trying to go broke shooting my new rifle either. I normally shoot reloads through my AR15's but the guy i get them from doesnt have any 7.62x51 ammo. Can someone please give me some advice. Thanks.
I am also considering reloading but just have so many projects going, i dont know when i would have the time.

Anything factory new will work really. I don't know any US made brand that can be corrosive, but your standard brands wont fail you. Federal, Hornady, Remington, American Eagle, Winchester. Sometimes at gun stores you can find .308 Battle Packs, which is surplus ammo to my knowedge.

The accuracy will not be good. Other than that, the Wolf ammo should work fine. Don't listen to the internet FUD about how Wolf ammo is going to 'destroy' your gun. While it might be waste to shoot Wolf through such an accurate/precise rifle, if all you want to do is plink, it will do fine. There will be extra cleaning required on your part because it is dirty ammo.

I definitely suggest reloading. If you can score some ball ammo, do it. It will be fine for plinking

There is Wolf Gold which has brass casings. I've heard they're much more accurate compared to their steel cased ammo.

My AR-10 absolutely loves the Prvi 168 grain match ammo.

What brand do you have? DPMS is Finicky it likes 150 gr. American Eagle. The Armalite shoots almost anything.

                    +1

Mine groups at about 1" with the 168 Prvi. The brass is pretty decent for reloading as well. I'd hesitate to call it "Match" ammunition, but it's the best accuracy per dollar you can get in 308 without reloading.
