Another review that makes it sound like the removable bolt face and both sights on the same take-down piece is all by design to make caliber conversions easy and affordable. But, if some people still think they were only working on a 9mm the whole time via clairvoyance, gut feeling, internet vibes or whatever, it is a free country.
I expect to see other calibers sooner than I imagined (via ESP).Comment

Ruger, deploying its fine engineering and modern manufacturing capability, has just spanked the competition completely in the pistol caliber carbine category. The competition is left wondering what happened.
Game over. No wonder so many of us are excited about this product. I'm in!USN Veteran, Gun Owners of Calif. Member, NRA Life Member

As what Go Navy wrote. Ruger did not just spank the competition, they beat them with a horse whip. I have a JP GMR 13 and a JP GMR 15 lower with a Taccom upper. I still will buy the Ruger PCC 9mm!
This is going to be a real winner for them!!If you can't shoot good, at least look good shootingComment

But it's not game over until we see Scorpions and MPX's being blown out at fire-sale prices. Which I wouldn't mind too much because I want an MPX too!Comment

I wish this thread would stop increasing. I so want one....The liberal see's the glass as half full and tries to take more.
The conservative see's glass as half empty and tries to keep it that way.
I'm with the people on the side just pouring water in the glass trying to get a drink!Comment

So what if someone who may legally own and use standard capacity magazines is in Calif and inserts a legally owned standard capacity Glock mag into a Ruger PC9 carbine? Would that person, keeping in mind he or she legally owns and may legally own and use such a magazine, be in violation of California law? Hmmmmmmm.Comment
