Don't have a couple hours to read though this long thread but what's a good takedown bag for this thing that accommodates the spacers in the stock

SKINNER folding take-down case... your choice of OA length. I think 22" covers most unless you are adding more spacers than it came with. I have a Skinner in 22", Vertx courier, FSDC Ruger 10/22 TD bag clone, Botach, etc... Skinner is probably the best compact quality case where you get so much for $60-$70

FSDC case can work, but internal pockets are slim, not wide or long enough and it is that Chinese quality for the zips and materials. Vertx is more for carrying a lot of guns and ammo including larger guns or AR's broken down, etc... Botach is a solid choice for $40 or whatever they were going for in smallest size (26" IIRC). I use one of those and the skinner for my two PCC.

Anyone try Skinner's Flat takedown case vs. their Folding takedown case?

I have the Ruger "clone" by FSDC. 2 spacers + Primary Arms 2.5 optic. Everything fits. IMHO of good enough quality it will last as long as I need it. Amazon.

I picked up a Grayman Plan B, https://www.hazard4.com/grayman-planb.html. Haven't really used it, but I did check to see that the rifle fits. I only have one spacer on the stock. I also have the Taccom comp on the barrel.

I caved in and picked one up (mainly due to this thread!) and I absolutely love it! Been using Gen 4 Glock 26 magazines exclusively, runs great, no hiccups at all so far.

I went with the Catalyst Arms hardpoint kit for the QD attachments.

It works great and doesn't add much weight. I ended up switching the magazine release to the right, as with the release set up on the left I managed to accidentally eject a mag slinging the carbine over my back - no problems since switching.

For a bag I went with the Condor 26 Transporter. The main compartment has a divider and four straps, plenty roomy for an optic or other accessories.

There's also a zip up outer pouch with storage for magazines etc.

It is a little larger than the PCC really needs but I like that it gives the option to throw in some extra bits and pieces if needed. It's also nice and discreet and has a pretty solid shoulder strap set up that tucks away neatly when not in use.

What's the quality look like on that Condor case?

Really decent. I've been impressed for the $50 I paid. Zippers are solid, good stitching and the padding is pretty substantial. The shoulder strap is great too, nice solid clips to switch it to either the left or right shoulder and it tucks away completely so you can just carry by the handles like a gym bag.

My only gripe is that both ends of the straps inside the main compartment are secured to the 'spine' of the bag so when you cinch them down the two halves of the carbine rest alongside each other. They still do the job well, I'd just have liked a little more adjustment.

I have a stupid question. What is that knob/wheel looking thing behind the rear sight. You can turn it a little but I have no idea what it does. And I can't find it in the manual.

You can adjust the slack and slop out of the take-down mechanism with that. You can adjust by small numbers of clicks (making the fit tighter) and reassemble the halves until you cannot get it to assemble, then back off a bit and make sure it will assemble easily enough without any play between barrel section and receiver section.

No Problem. Also if you can't seem to get slop out, remove the handguard to tighten and loctite the take-down block screw. Mine shot loose pretty fast... didn't catch it till I installed a PMM forend that would not stop moving.
