Out of stock, but they come in and out so you just have to keep looking.

This is the lowest mount possible.. there's maybe a gap of 1/32-inch between the tube and the rail.. I can actually see my sights through the optic.. just barely, but I could use them in a pinch.

The bottom line is you're going to have to drill into the stock to embed them.

I'm really hoping we hear/see about news at the Magpul about a backpacker stock at SHOT 2019. This as I'm still hearing shops around the country, not just CA that are selling PCCs faster than they can get them. I've seen nothing but overall positive impressions and reviews about it too.
The year after the gun came out? Look how many years it took them to bring out the Ruger Hunter stock, and the Remington version had already been out. They would have to do a new PC carbine stock from scratch. It could be 5 years from now.

This is what I use (see pictures below).

Takes all of about 10 mins to install including removing the butt plate and reinstalling the plate.

Not a big deal at all if you can run a hand drill and wrench.

Below is a pic of one I installed on my SCR,

Put me down for a Magpul Hunter stock. Of course, I'm still waiting for the Mini-14 version to come out!

If they do make it, hopefully they design it differently to make it less of a brick. The Hunter is 3.3 pounds! That's more than some chassis. People already complain about the PC carbine being too heavy.

                @BigBamBoo

Thanks for sharing, that's a slick job. Will have to look into getting one of those. I had seen IWC awhile back had something similar back when MOE was common place before M-LOK was a thing. It allowed you to install a QD cup directly into the handguard.

The option you have coupled with that PMM handguard would really improve the ability to mount a good two-point sling versus ones that the traditional ones that are limited by the current swivels.

I picked one up about a week ago, Looks like it shipped out yesterday.
I figured I would give it a go.

I haven't been in the right thread while swilling bourbon yet. I'm sure I'll end up with one eventually. If there's a sale, it is certain.

As far as RDS... I think the Holosun 507C is amazing. The only negative is that the battery is under the unit... but it is sealed and it has up to 10 years battery life. 3 reticle choices... here are two and there's also just the dot too. Looks great at home so far... have to get it to the range. I'd love one of these on a PCC.

My RMR had me PO'd when it flaked out at the range so I dumped it... getting some of those seal plates with the anti-flicker bump that pushes on the battery though. $10 to fix Trijicon's design is no big deal. I do prefer red dots that don't come with the battery and PCB exposed though, plus no mount included. That's always a plus. Gotta love cleaning CLP out of the battery compartment of your bomb-proof, super tough, insane MSRP RDS. Trij says if you add their seal plate it makes the RMR water tight down to 66 feet!! More like, if you run it without a seal plate, it is not good for 100 rounds at the air conditioned indoor range, hahah.

In case anyone was wondering . . .
I checked with Volquartsen on pending Ruger PCC parts. Answer was to expect release in December.
