My local guys can't keep the foreend in stock. Is the keltec website the best place to buy?

AFAIK there is no bullet button for the SU-16 (and why the heck would anyone do that?)
      +1!
just get the compact forend & sling and some extra magazines and you are good-to-go! the SU-16CA is good for what it is, but it is not an M4gery.

The MOST important accessory for an SU16 is a good safe.

Since that's where it will stay once you buy an AR.

The "B" sights will fit the " A" model. You can buy the sight set for about $50 plus shipping. You can ship your rifle to kek-tec to put them on or you can do it your self. You will have to cut the plastic portion of the front sight off and there is a steel sleeve underneath. The sleeve is held on with a locktite I think. It has to be either heated up and pulled off or I have heard that people have dremeled a slot in it almost thru to the barrel then cracked it off. Once it is off you can slide the "B" front sight on. It has set screws which you locktite. Mark

Uh oh, another bash on KT with AR. I love both AR and KT, but to tell you the truth, I take the SU out more. My AR sits in the gun safe more.

Sure, this is how it went down.

                    First

But I wasnt pleased with it so I ordered the Compact front end.

                    Second

I still wasnt pleased with it and wanted something diffrent. So, I got the tri-rail mount, which looked like this:

If you decide to go this route, althou the top rail mount is very tempting to put on, dont, it might bend the gas tube. But, if you do decide to put it on, use lok-tite. Your going to want to purchase 2x 5 slot and 1x 2 slot to fill up the entire fore grip portion, I decided to go with two since I like it a little lighter.
Then, after that, add what you like!
