Looking for FFL in or near teh Antelope Vally...

Hey I am on the hint for an FFL near the Antelpoe valy...bakersfield ridgecrest SFV that will do a trasfer for OLL....I have tried Metro Shot, but they wont return calls or emails.....I originally got mine from metroshot, but am trying to get more..as well as some frinds of mine..

Try Tom Watt at "A Place to Shoot" in Saugus. He orders firearms for customers and he may be able to help you.

I know the gun store on Sierra Hwy in Lancaster wont do it, did you try High Desert Firearms? I wouldn't waste your time with the troll at Santa Fe Guns period!

There's also Karl's Hardware (I think that's the name) in Rosamond that has a gun section, you can call there and ask.

Metroshot is no longer in business as they have run themselves into the ground. However at the same EXACT location there is now a place called Independent Armament Company. The guys who run it, Dmitry and Mike, got royally screwed by Metroshot and are the complete opposite of Pat and Cesar (that means really good). They are actually open most of the week and wont blow smoke up your ***. They would be more than happy to transfer any weapons for you. Karls hardware in rosamond does sell oll's, but their ffl transfer fee is outta this world. So is oaktree. (they'll both do ptp for the regulated fee though) Take the drive to ft. courage in simi...the fee is resonable, and you will look long and hard to find better, more friendly service than Tim has. Even when gas was $5/gal, I felt the drive was worth it...I haven't tried the guys who took over for metroshot, so no first hand experience to share there.

How about Santa Fe gunshop in Palmdale? I don't know exact name of the store, but they are AW dealer.

Stay away from Santa Fe, the little F'ing troll that runs the place could use his *** kicked up between his shoulder blades.

He's just flat out rude, mean and degrading to customers! I've seen this firsthand and will never go back into the store.
